Nicholas Antonas Named to Global Fund for Children’s UK Trust Board of Trustees

(London) – Akin Gump counsel Nicholas Antonas has been appointed to the UK Trust board of trustees of the Global Fund for Children (GFC), a global nonprofit dedicated to finding, funding and coaching community-based organizations that empower children and youth.
Mr. Antonas has been a supporter of GFC for several years. He serves as a GFC Global Ambassador, working actively to promote the organization and its partners in their individual communities and globally, as well as providing invaluable technical and professional advice.
GFC has recently been awarded £1.9 million from the National Lottery Community Fund to establish opportunities in the UK to support community-led organizations of Black and minority-led groups that are traditionally overlooked by big philanthropy.
