Paul Gutermann Talks Trigeneration with Power Engineering International

Power Engineering International, which focuses on power generation news outside North America, quoted Akin Gump environment and natural resources practice head Paul Gutermann on the technology of trigeneration, which produces cooling, heat and power from one fuel.
Gutermann noted that trigeneration’s supporters need to work to see that it is considered by EPA: “They are going to need to take a look and get involved in the weeds of the policy development. They have to some extent a sympathetic audience at EPA but [trigeneration] is a small piece of fruit for the agency to pick up. It is not going to be a major focus.”
