Philadelphia Business Journal Recognizes Akin Gump Partnership with Child Welfare Organization

(Philadelphia) – Philadelphia Business Journal has selected Akin Gump for inclusion in its 2018 Faces of Philanthropy list. The firm was recognized for its partnership with Support Center for Child Advocates, which provides legal assistance and social service advocacy for abused and neglected children in Philadelphia County.

The Faces of Philanthropy list honors “the most impactful philanthropic initiatives between for-profit companies and non-profit companies that truly make a difference in the greater Philadelphia area.” Akin Gump’s partnership with Support Center for Child Advocates goes back more than a decade, with the firm having successfully handled more than 30 cases for the organization since 2007.

All of the honorees will be recognized at a breakfast on April 12.
