The National Law Journal has quoted Pratik Shah, co-head of Akin Gump’s Supreme Court and appellate practice, in the article “In Big Leap, SCOTUS Announces E-Filing Is Coming Soon,” regarding changes coming to the way cases are filed with the U.S. Supreme Court. The article reports that electronic filing of case documents will be required beginning November 13.

Shah, a former assistant to the Solicitor General who has argued more than a dozen cases before the Court, said, “It’s certainly a positive step that will increase public access” to court information. “We won’t have to rely on SCOTUSblog as much.”
