Richard Page Co-Authors Article on Idaho’s Bid to Attract Solar Investments

Richard Page, a tax associate at Akin Gump, has co-authored the article “Idaho Rewrites Tax Regime for Solar Projects,” which was published by Power Finance & Risk.

The article discusses the latest tax incentives for solar generation in the Gem State, where Gov. Butch Otter recently signed into law legislation that will revise the way solar energy producers will be taxed. The article notes that solar energy producers “will not pay property taxes on their solar energy but will instead pay a tax of 3.5% on ‘gross solar energy earnings.’”
