Robert Humphreys Pro Bono Work Recognized with California Innocence Project XONR8R Award

(Los Angeles) – Akin Gump litigation senior counsel Robert Humphreys has been honored by the California Innocence Project as a recipient of its first annual XONR8R award.

Mr. Humphreys was honored for his work with a wrongfully convicted individual in preparation of a claim for compensation from the Victim Compensation and Group Claims Board of California.

The recognition was celebrated at an event held by the California Innocence Project in San Diego on September 29. The organization is a law school clinical program at California Western School of Law dedicated to releasing wrongfully convicted inmates and training lawyers to build a fair and honest justice system.
