Spicer, Román Griffith Named Among Hollywood’s ‘Top Dealmakers’

(Los Angeles) – Akin Gump is pleased to share that entertainment practice head Christopher Spicer and partner Marissa Román Griffith have been named by The Hollywood Reporter to its Top Dealmakers of 2022 list. Both Mr. Spicer and Ms. Román Griffith have been multiply recognized by THR in the publication’s annual Power Lawyers list (learn more here).

The profile spotlights Mr. Spicer’s work advising HPS Investment Partners in arranging debt for Kobalt Music Group, and Ms. Griffith’s work with MRC Films on licensing and financing the Poker Face series for Peacock and arranging production funding for its films Fair Play and The Snack Shack.
