Steven Maslowski Named Among Top Pennsylvania Lawyers Under 40

(Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) – The Legal Intelligencer has named Steven D. Maslowski, a partner at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP in Philadelphia, to its ninth annual list of “Lawyers On The Fast Track,” the firm announced today.
The “Lawyers on the Fast Track” list recognizes lawyers under the age of 40 who have “worked tirelessly in their professional, personal and civic lives to improve the legal landscape and the future of others.” Lawyers named to the list have excelled in law practice, pro bono work, community service and service to the bar.
Mr. Maslowski’s practice focuses on patent litigation and client counseling in a wide range of technologies, from highly complex biological and chemical inventions to mechanical and electrical devices. Mr. Maslowski was a member of the trial team that won, in 2009, the largest patent jury verdict in U.S. history, a $1.67 billion jury verdict in the Eastern District of Texas for clients Centocor Ortho Biotech, Inc. and New York University in a patent infringement suit against Abbott Laboratories for its flagship product, Humira®.
Mr. Maslowski is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University and the George Washington University Law School.
