The Oath Profiles Akin Gump’s Renewable Energy and Finance Industry Work in the UAE
In its article “Energy efficient,” the Oath has profiled Akin Gump’s recent hosting of a reception in Abu Dhabi to coincide with the 2019 World Future Energy Summit. The program featured important issues and trends for those in the renewable energy and finance industries.
Those in attendance from Akin Gump included global project finance practice co-heads Daniel Sinaiko and John Marciano. They were joined by cross-border transactional counsel Nidal Daraiseh and Din Eshanov, and Abu Dhabi office co-head Chadi Salloum.
The article notes that Akin Gump’s global project finance team has worked on many significant matters in the United Arab Emirates. Among them, the firm’s representation of Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Company in connection with the tender, development and financing of the 1,177 MW Sweihan Photovoltaic Independent Power Project.
