Vernon Jordan Receives Lifetime Achievement Award from Anti-Defamation League

(Washington, D.C.) – Akin Gump is pleased to announce that senior counsel Vernon Jordan Jr. was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Anti-Defamation League yesterday at its 21st Annual Jurisprudence Luncheon. Also recognized was former Acting U.S. Attorney General Sally Yates, who received the Elbert P. Tuttle Jurisprudence Award.

The Anti-Defamation League is a global organization whose stated mission includes stopping anti-Semitism, combatting hate, protecting communities and confronting discrimination. Its annual Jurisprudence Luncheon recognizes lawyers who have, over the course of their careers, dedicated themselves to securing justice and fair treatment for all people.
