At an event held in June, Akin Gump was among a select group of Washington, D.C.-era companies honored by Washington Business Journal in its 2014 Corporate Philanthropy Awards.
The firm was recognized in the category of “Corporate Philanthropy by Giving.” This is Akin Gump’s third consecutive recognition in this category. Other awards honored volunteer hours and partnerships with local nonprofit charitable organizations.
