World Trademark Review Names Karol Kepchar to WTR 1000 List of Leading Trademark Professionals

(Washington, D.C.) – Karol Kepchar, a partner in Akin Gump’s intellectual property practice, has been named by World Trademark Review to its WTR 1000, a list of the world’s leading trademark professionals. Ms. Kepchar was recommended in the areas of “enforcement and litigation” and “prosecution and strategy.”

Ms. Kepchar’s practice centers on trademark, copyright, Internet, unfair competition and anticounterfeiting law. The publication notes that she works with clients “to pragmatically manage their intangible assets through perceptive litigation and licensing programs; she is especially skilled at mandates sitting at the confluence of the Internet and intellectual property.”

This is the second time in the past three years that Ms. Kepchar has been selected for the list, whose methodology includes “an exhaustive qualitative research project to identify the firms and individuals that are deemed outstanding in this critical area of practice.”
