Akin Gump international trade partner Wynn Segall has been quoted by China Global Television Network for its report “Frustration lingers for businesses after historic deals on Cuba and Iran,” on the continuing impact of U.S. sanctions on Iran after a 2016 diplomatic agreement paved the way for delivery of the first post-sanctions aircraft to that country last week.

According to the article, multinationals are still hesitant to do dollar-denominated business with Iran, thanks to the sanctions. Segall said, “I think what we will see from the U.S. business community is an enormous amount of frustration,” which persists even a year after the diplomatic agreement took effect.
