Christopher M. Gorman-Evans is principally engaged in the representation of private investment funds and their sponsors.
Mr. Gorman-Evans’ practice focuses on the formation and operation of private equity funds, hedge funds and other capital markets funds, employing a variety of investment strategies, including direct equity, distressed debt, real estate, commodities, seeding emerging managers and diverse securities trading strategies. He has worked with funds and managers in a variety of jurisdictions, including the United States, the United Kingdom, the Cayman Islands, Germany and Australia.
Mr. Gorman-Evans is listed as a leading lawyer in Chambers 2011 and recognized in the areas of hedge funds and private equity funds.
Mr. Gorman-Evans received his M.A. from the University of Oxford. He is a member of the New York Bar and is admitted to practice in England and Wales.
