Kim Koopersmith is experienced in all aspects of civil dispute resolution, including federal and state court litigation and private arbitration.
Ms. Koopersmith has litigated a wide range of issues in federal court, including contractual disputes, representation of creditors’ committees in complex bankruptcy proceedings, labor and employment litigation, confirmation of foreign arbitral awards and civil RICO claims. She also has extensive litigation experience in the New York state courts on a variety of issues and has litigated numerous restraining orders and preliminary injunctions.
Ms. Koopersmith received her B.A. cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 1981 and her J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law in 1984. She is a member of the New York Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 2nd and 3rd Circuits.
Ms. Koopersmith is also active in firm management, serving on the executive committee, the management committee and the compensation committee and as chair of the partnership committee.
