FTC Action Halts the Operations of Automators AI
Summary
As a result of an FTC lawsuit, the United States District Court for the Southern District of California has temporarily shut down the operations of Automators AI, who claimed to use AI to ensure success and profitability for consumers who agreed to invest with Automators. The temporary restraining order specifically enjoins Automators AI from making earnings claims and statements that specify guaranteed levels of profits by way of AI machine-learning to maximize revenues. Automators AI will also be subject to an asset freeze and additional, expedited disclosure requirements.
