G42 and OpenAI to Help UAE Develop One of World’s Biggest Data Centers in the UAE

US and UAE officials announced on May 15, 2025, that G42 will build a new 5-gigawatt data center in the United Arab Emirates in collaboration with several other US companies. It is reported that OpenAI plans to participate in the data center project alongside G42 and is expected to be one of the primary anchor tenants for the data center campus in Abu Dhabi. Once completed, the facility would be one of the largest in the world.
