Summary

A bicameral group of Democratic lawmakers, led by Rep. Yvette Clarke (D-NY) and Sens. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), Cory Booker (D-NJ) and Michael Bennet (D-CO), have introduced the REAL Political Ads Act (H.R. 3044/S. 1596). The bill would require a disclaimer on political ads that use AI-generated images or video.
