Nvidia and MGX to Establish What Will Be Europe’s Largest AI Data Center Campus in France

On May 19, 2025, following the establishment of a strategic alliance between the UAE and France on broader AI cooperation at the AI Action Summit in February 2025, Bpifrance, the French national investment bank, and MGX, the UAE investment fund focused on AI, alongside Mistral AI and NVIDIA, announced the formation of a joint venture to establish what will be Europe's largest AI data center campus, located near Paris. It is reported that the data center campus represents an €8.5 billion investment and the first phase will be operational in 2028.
