Senate Foreign Relations Committee Holds Hearing Examining US Leadership on AI

Foreign Relations: On November 15, 2023, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee held a hearing titled, “US Leadership On Artificial Intelligence In An Era Of Strategic Competition.” During the hearing, witnesses acknowledged the importance of maintaining global leadership in AI innovation and engaging with allied partners on research and development (R&D) investment, harmonized standards and interoperability.
