Akin Achieves Top Restructuring Rankings in Octus' H1 2026 EMEA Tables

Akin has been recognized as one of Europe's leading restructuring advisers in the latest Octus H1 2026 EMEA Restructuring Rankings, earning several top rankings across the UK and EMEA.

The firm ranked first in the UK for both deal volume and deal count among legal advisers on new large-cap restructuring mandates during the first half of 2026, advising on eight engagements covering over €5.5 billion of debt.

Across EMEA, Akin ranked second by deal volume after advising on 10 large-cap restructuring mandates totaling over €7.5 billion of debt.

In the second quarter of 2026, Akin also ranked first in EMEA by deal volume and second by deal count for new large-cap restructuring mandates.
