Akin Again Named to ‘Best Law Firms for Women & Diversity’ List

Akin is pleased to share that the firm has again been named to Seramount’s 50 Best Law Firms for Women & Diversity list. Seramount, since 1979, has promoted diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace, and its Best Law Firms list recognizes “forward-thinking law firms that measure their progress in recruiting, retaining and advancing women.”

To earn a spot on the Best Law firms list, firms completed an extensive application covering topics such as attorney representation, schedule flexibility, paid time off/parental leaves, and development and retention of women and people of color.

In 2022, Akin was named to Seramount’s list. Before 2022, the Seramount survey was conducted by Working Mother magazine, and in 2021, the firm was named to that periodical’s annual list of the 50 best law firms for women.
