(Washington, D.C.) – Akin Gump is pleased to share that its work has again been recognized with a CIO 100 Award. This is the fourth time that the firm has received this recognition.

Akin Gump is being recognized for Military End Use(r), a state-of-the-art regulatory tool that the firm developed in partnership with Palantir Technologies to help our clients comply with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s export control restrictions against conveying certain items where the provider has knowledge that the item is intended for a “military end use” or “military end user” in China, Russia or Venezuela. The application automates our clients’ diligence in determining the MEU status of their customers.

According to CIO, the awards, now in their 35th year, are “an acknowledged mark of enterprise excellence.” Awards will be handed out at the CIO 100 Symposium and Awards to be held at a resort outside Los Angeles from August 15 to 17.
