Akin Again Places in CIO 100
Akin is pleased to share that the firm has, for the fifth time, been recognized with a CIO Award (learn about last year’s win here).
The firm’s entry, Overruled/Russia Trade Controls Resource Center, was recognized from what the organizers called a highly competitive field of nominations for “using IT in innovative ways to deliver business value.”
Overruled—which enables users to search for and analyze U.S. sanctions and export control enforcement, interrogate guidance offered by regulators, and calculate estimated penalties for suspected violations—was also awarded “Standout” status in the 2022 Financial Times North America Innovative Lawyers report (learn more here) and won the "Innovation through Technology – Private Practice" category at The Middle East Legal Awards 2022 (learn more here).
The annual US CIO 100 Awards celebrate 100 organizations and the teams within them that are using IT in innovative ways to deliver business value, whether by creating competitive advantage, optimizing business processes, enabling growth, or improving relationships with customers. The award is an acknowledged mark of enterprise excellence.
According to a CIO executive, the winners “distinguished themselves with many groundbreaking projects…their innovations improve customer experiences, track sustainability, and reduce risk…”
Winners will be celebrated and recognized at the CIO 100 Symposium & Awards on August 14-16 in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
