Akin Gump Again Tapped for GCR 100 Top Competition Practices

(Washington, D.C.) – Global Competition Review has once again selected Akin Gump for inclusion in its GCR 100 annual guide of the world’s top competition practices. This is the third year in a row that the firm has been named to the list.

In its profile of the firm, the publication noted Akin Gump partner Corey Roush’s leadership of the practice and spotlighted the firm’s work in 2020 representing 7-Eleven in its $21 billion acquisition of the Speedway gas station chain from Marathon Petroleum—the largest acquisition in sector history (learn more here). It also described the firm’s work in securing dismissal of claims against AnTech, which operates a network of veterinary diagnostic laboratories, involving alleged violation of antitrust laws.
