Akin Gump Again Top 10 in GRR 30’s Ranking of Top Restructuring Firms
(London) – For the fourth year out of four, Akin Gump has placed among the top firms in Global Restructuring Review’s GRR 100 guide to the top cross-border restructuring and insolvency law firms. Additionally, the firm again placed in the GRR 30, a ranking of the standout firms among the GRR 100.
Recent work noted by GRR includes work advising an ad hoc group of noteholders for fashion brand Nine West, an ad hoc group of noteholders of Irish oilfield services group Weatherford International, noteholders of U.K. construction company Interserve, an ad hoc noteholder group in Luxembourg-incorporated industrial group Galapagos’ €1 billion multijurisdictional restructuring, along with work in the restructurings of companies from Connecticut to Singapore, including SVP Global, China Singyes Solar Technologies and Hyflux.
