Akin Gump Restructuring Shortlisted for IFLR Asia-Pacific ‘Deal of the Year’ Award

(London) – Akin Gump is pleased to share that a restructuring on which it worked has been shortlisted for Restructuring Deal of the Year for the IFLR Asia-Pacific Awards 2022.

In the restructuring of Prosafe SE, the leading Norwegian-headquartered owner-operator of semi-submersible accommodation vessels, which completed in mid-December 2021, Akin Gump advised an ad hoc committee of lenders under a $1.3 billion facility made available to Prosafe. (Learn more here.)

The Awards focus on legal innovation in cross-border transactions that closed in calendar year 2021. Winners will be announced at a virtual ceremony on March 17.
