Akin Gump Shines in Am Law Midlevel Associate Survey

(Washington, D.C.) – Akin Gump is pleased to announce that it has achieved several best-ever rankings in The American Lawyer’s 2020 U.S. Midlevel Associates Survey. The survey measures associate satisfaction across a number of areas, including the level of interest and satisfaction with work, training and development, firm communication and transparency, and investment in technology.

Most notably, Akin Gump placed sixth in the United States overall, the firm’s highest national ranking to date, and first in the competitive New York market, the firm’s first time atop that chart.

Additionally, Akin Gump took a great leap up to fourth place in D.C. and was a top-10 firm in Dallas, Houston and Los Angeles. The firm was also ranked top 10 nationally for firms investing in technology.
