Akin Gump to Receive National Asian Pacific American Bar Association’s Law Firm Diversity Award

(Washington, D.C.) – The National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) has named Akin Gump the recipient of its 2019 Law Firm Diversity Award.

The award, to be presented at NAPABA’s 31st anniversary gala on November 9 in Austin, Texas, honors law firms “that actively, affirmatively, consistently, and enthusiastically recruit, retain, and promote Asian Pacific American lawyers to equity partnership and firm leadership.”

NAPABA is the preeminent professional development organization and voice for 50,000 Asian Pacific American attorneys, judges, law professors, and law students. It also represents the interests of nearly 90 national, state, and local Asian Pacific American bar associations.
