Akin Lawyers Shortlisted in The Legal 500 Middle East and North Africa Awards

Akin partner Rizwan Kanji and associate Nicola Minervini have been shortlisted across four categories in the inaugural The Legal 500 Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Awards. The MENA Awards celebrate the contribution of lawyers and law firms setting the pace in MENA, recognize the region’s exceptional array of legal talent and acknowledge their achievements over the last couple of years.

The MENA Awards process is based on The Legal 500’s market-leading independent research and follows both Rizwan and Nicola’s ranking and recommendation in The Legal 500 EMEA 2023 guide in which Rizwan was recognized as a leading individual for Capital Markets in the UAE and Nicola was recognized for a fourth consecutive year as a Rising Star for Capital Markets in the UAE.

Rizwan is shortlisted for Lawyer of the Year in both the UAE and Capital Markets categories with Nicola shortlisted for Rising Star of the Year across both the MENA region and in Capital Markets.

Winners will be announced on February 8, 2024, in Dubai.
