Akin has been named a 2025 Top Workplace by The Washington Post, ranking number two in the large employers category on their annual Top Workplaces series. This is the seventh consecutive year that the D.C. office has been featured on the list.
The profile showcases the firm’s focus on pro bono efforts characterizing the work as “a cornerstone of the firm,” and its emphasis on employee benefits highlighting the “extensive benefits package that includes on-site backup child care and elder care services; an adoption, surrogacy and fertility assistance reimbursement program; and a years-of-service awards program.”
