In The Legal 500 Latin America 2024 edition, Akin has received a number of recognitions for its partners and practices.

Within the International Firms category, Akin’s practice areas of Projects and Energy, Capital Markets and Corporate and M&A have been ranked. The firm has also been recognized in the City Focus: Houston category, for its work in Latin America.

Akin co-head of projects & energy transition, Matt Kapinos is highlighted for his work in storage terminal and renewables projects in Latin America.

Corporate & finance partner, Margaret Parker-Yavuz is recognized for her work with institutional investors and lenders in connection with private placement transactions and is cited as “a pleasure to work with.”
