Akin Scores Three Recognitions in NLJ Legal Awards

Akin has been recognized with two wins and an award shortlisting for The National Law Journal’s Legal Awards 2023.

Investment management partner Amanda Butler-Jones was named a DC Rising Star—“lawyers who have wielded influence in their practice areas in the D.C. area and beyond”—and Akin was named to NLJ’s Appellate Hot List of law firms that have handled exemplary appellate matters–the 14th time in 16 years that Akin has been named to this prestigious list.

The firm was also named a finalist in the Government Relations/Lobbying category, whose winner will be announced at the awards event in Washington, D.C. on October 26.

Amanda was recently shortlisted in the “Legal & Compliance” category in Black Women in Asset Management’s (BWAM) 2023 40 Under 40 Awards. (Learn more here).
