Akin Shortlisted in Two Categories for ACG Houston Deal of the Year Awards

A deal in which Akin advised has been named a finalist in two categories for the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Houston’s Seventh Annual Deal of the Year Awards.

The transaction – in which Akin advised Main Street Capital in its $43.2 million portfolio investment in Pinnacle Plastics, Inc. and Integrity Plastics, Inc. – is a finalist in both the Manufacturing Deal of the Year and Houston-Based Private Equity Deal of the Year categories.

According to ACG Houston, the finalists were reviewed and ranked by their independent judges panel of top business leaders and educators.  ACG Houston’s mission is to “honor the deals and dealmakers who drive middle market growth resulting in job growth, capital formation and the advancement of meaningful business relationships.”
