Akin Shortlisted in Two Categories for Legalweek’s Leaders in Tech Law Awards

Akin has been selected among the finalists for Legalweek’s 2025 Leaders in Tech Law Awards in two categories: Best Use of Emerging Technology (Non-AI), and Regulatory, Governance and Compliance Technology. 

The Best Use of Emerging Technology (Non-AI) Award shortlisting recognizes Akin's Write-Off Approval & Analytics Platform (WRAP), a revolutionary business workflow system that streamlines the process of requesting, reviewing and approving write-downs to client bills prior to invoicing.  

The Regulatory, Governance and Compliance Technology Award shortlisting recognizes the innovative Entity Formation System (EFS) tool Akin designed to aid the firm’s lawyers in complying with the Corporate Transparency Act’s (CTA’s) obligations. 

According to Legalweek, the awards honor “individuals and organizations who have been at the forefront of legal innovation over the past year, across three categories: law firms, legal departments and technology providers.” 

Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony and dinner on March 24, 2025 during the Legalweek 2025 conference in New York.
