Barry Russell Named to “Fifty Most Influential Lawyers 2023” List by Financial News

The annual list recognizes the leading legal minds working in Europe on corporate deals, including M&A, restructuring and equity issuances, as well as those advising financial services companies on issues such as fund structuring and regulation.
Barry’s profile notes that he has “been on the front line of the most significant and high-profile cross-border workouts and financial restructurings of European companies.” The feature also highlights that Barry recently “led the [Akin] team on the $6bn global restructuring of Nordic Aviation Capital… completed in June 2022 and was closely followed by the reorganisation of commodities trader Noble Group, a $1.5bn restructuring.”
