Christian Davis and Katherine Padgett Named 2026 ‘Top Advisors’ by Foreign Investment Watch

Christian Davis, international trade partner and head of Akin’s Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) practice, and Katherine Padgett, international trade partner and head of Akin’s FOCI mitigation transactional practice, have been named 2026 “top advisors” by Foreign Investment Watch.  

The annual list recognizes leading advisors in the areas of foreign investment and national security.

Foreign Investment Watch highlights Christian’s work across international trade, national security, CFIUS mitigation, and ICTS supply‑chain matters, advising clients across a wide range of industries.  

The publication notes Katherine’s extensive work on a wide range of international trade matters, as well as her prior leadership at the Office of the Legal Adviser at the Department of State, her work within interagency policy-making processes, and her representation of companies operating in Asia and the Middle East.
