As part of its 2023 Women, Influence and Power in Law Awards, Corporate Counsel has selected Akin cybersecurity, privacy & data protection practice co-chair Michelle Reed among its honorees in the category “Best Mentor.”

The award recognizes a woman lawyer who has “excelled at mentoring others in achieving their career objectives through moral, social, and intellectual support.”

The Women, Influence & Power in Law Awards will be held in New Orleans on October 18.

Previously, Michelle was named a finalist for The American Lawyer’s Best Mentor award, and, earlier this year, she three-peated her selection to Cybersecurity Docket’s Incident Response 50—a list of “the 50 best data breach response lawyers in the business”—and was once again recognized in JD Supra’s annual Readers’ Choice Awards, which honor “thought leaders for achieving the highest visibility and engagement among readers for their particular expertise.”
