Ezra Zahabi Named to “Fifty Most Influential Lawyers 2026” List by Financial News

Akin partner-in-charge of the firm’s London office Ezra Zahabi has been named to the “Fifty Most Influential Lawyers 2026” list by Financial News. 

The annual list recognizes leaders of the UK’s largest firms, London and European heads of US legal powerhouses and finance lawyers leading top practices. Honorees are selected based on the strength of their teams, the caliber of their client work, and their broader influence on the legal sector. 

A new entry to this year’s list, Ezra is noted as a financial regulation specialist, advising some of the world’s largest asset managers on UK and EU legislation, including the FCA Handbook, MiFID II and the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive. 

Ezra’s profile highlights her recent work including providing regulatory advice to a group of Class A creditors in the restructuring of Thames Water, as well as advising Carlyle in its role as lender to the holding company of The Very Group during its administration sale.
