Julius Chen Named a ‘Rising Star” by Minority Corporate Counsel Association

Akin Supreme Court & appellate partner Julius Chen has been named a 2023 MCCA Rising Star by Minority Corporate Counsel Association.

MCCA recognized 31 “stellar attorneys” in the legal industry, notable for “law, ambition, and pursuit of excellence” and for their “deep compassion for those in need and a strong desire to give back to others.” The goal in honoring these lawyers is, in MCCA’s words, “to inspire and empower attorneys at all stages of their careers, providing invaluable insights and guidance for their endeavors.”

The Rising Stars will be celebrated at MMCA’s annual Creating Pathways to Diversity Conference on October 9-11.

Earlier this year, Julius was named a top diverse business leader by Washington Business Journal (learn more here).
