Los Angeles Business Journal Again Names Akin Gump to Best Law Firms List

(Los Angeles) – Akin Gump has been named for the second straight year one of the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Best Law Firms, a list of those firms that are “consciously working towards creating diverse, positive, and supportive environments to help drive the success of their attorneys.”

Akin Gump was recognized “as a great place to work in large part because of its reputation as an outstanding service-oriented global law firm that is focused on its people.” The firm was also noted for having a culture “that ensures all employees feel like an important and included part of the workplace.” In particular, Akin Gump was praised for its “innovative, comprehensive, holistic wellness program that supports employees throughout their lives—physically, emotionally and financially—thereby helping them reach their potential and engagement.”

Last week, Akin Gump was named one of the Top Workplaces in Houston in an annual survey run by the Houston Chronicle. (Click here to learn more.) The firm was also named this fall as among the best places to work in Washington, D.C., where it ranked second overall in its category (click here), and in Dallas (click here).
