New York Law Journal Selects Pro Bono Counsel Lauren Connell for Rising Star Award

(New York) – Akin Gump is pleased to share that New York Law Journal has selected Akin Gump pro bono counsel Lauren Connell as among its 2021 Rising Stars.

The awards recognize “the region’s most promising lawyers 40 and younger,” with submissions judged by an outside panel of experts.

Winners will be honored October 13 at the New York Legal Awards.

In 2021, Ms. Connell has been honored by nonprofit Her Justice as part of its 2021 Commitment to Justice Awards (learn more here) and by Brooklyn Volunteer Lawyers Project with its Pro Bono Leadership Award (learn more here).
