Akin is pleased to share that the National Bar Association has named lobbying & public policy senior counsel Reggie Babin a member of its 2023-2024 class of Top 40 Under 40 – Nation’s Best Advocates.

This award recognizes the nation’s top lawyers under 40 who exemplify a broad range of high achievement, including in advocacy, innovation, vision, leadership, and legal and community involvement.

Akin investment management & private equity partner Amanda Butler-Jones was a previous Top 40 Under 40 honoree (learn more here), as was international trade partner Jaelyn Judelson (learn more here).

The National Bar Association, founded in 1925, is the nation's oldest and largest national network of predominantly African-American attorneys and judges.

The class will be recognized at the National Bar Association’s 98th Annual Convention on August 2.

Earlier this year, Reggie was profiled by POLITICO among its annual Power List, which recognizes power players who shaped the intersection of race, culture, politics and policy in 2022.
