The Recorder Runs Daniel Lynch Profile for ‘Lawyers on the Fast Track’

The Recorder, as part of its California Legal Awards, has published a Q&A profile of Akin corporate & finance partner Daniel Lynch that springs from his “Lawyers on the Fast Track” recognition announced by the publication in early September.

Aside from discussing the nature of his practice, Daniel, whose practice focuses on global project finance matters, pointed to three significant representations he led in the last year for longtime firm client Excelsior Energy Capital:

• The client’s purchase of 100% of sellers’ membership interests in a 100MW solar facility.
• Its long-term partnership with Unico Solar Investors to build/own/operate a 250 MW pipeline of commercial/industrial solar projects across North America.
• Its acquisition of 100 percent of Grupo T-Solar Global USA Inc’s sponsor equity interests in the El Centro Solar Project in California.

Asked something about himself that one wouldn’t learn from LinkedIn or his bio, Daniel replied, “I am highly committed to the development of the associates that work for me or on the matters I’m overseeing. Our associates are either future partners or future clients and their development (and overall happiness) is of high importance.”
