CBP Issues Withhold Release Order on Products Made by Forced Labor in Xinjiang

In light of a region-wide ban issued by the CBP, importers with links to products produced by labor in the XUAR region of China should expect increased scrutiny of their supply chains.

The order applies to “apparel, textiles, tomato seeds, canned tomatoes, tomato sauce, and other goods made with cotton and tomatoes.” For more insight on how the action will impact importers, click here.
