Common Sense Policy from ISS Seeks to Legislate a New Approach to Board Diversity

With the release of its 2018 Governance Principles Survey, Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) previewed potential changes to its 2019 proxy voting policies.

Principally, ISS is expected to recommend voting against, or withholding votes from, the chair of the nominating committee of the board of directors of any public company with no female directors. To learn more about what we call Common Sense Policy, click here.
