Trump Executive Order Tracker

This establishes the White House Great American Recovery Initiative (“Initiative”) co-chaired by the Secretary of Health and Human Services and the Senior Advisor for Addiction Recovery. The Initiative will have an Executive Director who will administer and execute the day-to-day operations of the Initiative. The Co-Chairs and the Executive Director, along with the other members of the Initiative, shall: recommend all necessary steps to coordinate the Federal Government’s response to the addiction crisis; increase awareness of the disease of addiction; advise agency heads on how to implement programs that address addiction efforts; advise agency heads on directing grants to support addiction recovery; and consult with States, tribal nations, local jurisdictions, and other organizations on strategies to address treatment and recovery.

Declares a national emergency in response to the Cuban government's action, including supporting Russia, China, Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah. Adds an ad valorem tariff that can be imposed on goods imported from any country that provides oil to Cuba, directly or indirectly. Authorizes the Secretary of State and the Secretary of Commerce to determine such countries and take all necessary guidance to implement such tariffs.

Directs the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Small Business Administration to override state and local permitting processes that delay Los Angeles wildfire disaster rebuilding and replace them with a federal self-certification system for compliance with health and safety standards. Orders federal agencies to accelerate environmental reviews, streamline regulatory approvals, and strengthen oversight of disaster funds to ensure faster reconstruction of homes and businesses in wildfire-affected areas of Los Angeles.

Directs federal agencies to restrict the sale, financing, insurance, guarantees, securitization, and disposition of single-family homes to large institutional investors, prioritize sales to individual owner-occupants, require greater ownership disclosure in federal housing programs, intensify antitrust scrutiny of large-scale housing acquisitions, and develop legislation to codify limits on institutional ownership of single-family homes. 

Establishes a second Presidential Emergency Board under the Railway Labor Act to investigate unresolved labor disputes between the Long Island Rail Road Company and multiple railroad labor unions. Directs the Board to review final settlement offers and submit a binding recommendation to the President while requiring both parties to maintain current working conditions during the process. 

Authorizes the Department of War (DOW) to identify underperforming defense contractors and restrict stock buybacks, dividends, executive compensation practices, and certain advocacy benefits until contractors demonstrate sufficient performance, investment, and production capacity, using existing statutory and contractual enforcement tools when necessary.

Directs the immediate withdrawal of the U.S. from a broad set of international organizations and United Nations (UN) entities deemed contrary to U.S. interests following a comprehensive State Department review mandated by Executive Order 14199. Instructs agencies to cease participation, funding, and support for the listed organizations as soon as legally permissible, with the Secretary of State retaining authority to issue further implementation guidance and continue additional reviews.

This memorandum directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services and the Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to review best practices from peer, developed countries for core childhood vaccination recommendations. If those best practices are found superior to the United States’s current recommendations, they are further directed to update the U.S. core childhood vaccine schedule while preserving access to existing vaccines.

Establishes Food Supply Chain Security Task Forces at the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to investigate anti-competitive behavior across U.S. food-related industries, including meat processing, seed, fertilizer, and equipment. Targets price fixing, market manipulation, and foreign control of food supply chains that may raise consumer costs or pose national and economic security risks, and authorizes enforcement actions, including criminal prosecutions where warranted.
