Akin Gump Expands Corporate Practice

(New York, New York) – Jeffrey L. Kochian has joined Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld as a partner in the firm’s corporate practice in New York.
Mr. Kochian’s practice focuses on public and private mergers and acquisitions, including private equity transactions. Mr. Kochian also advises both domestic and foreign public companies on a variety of corporate matters, including joint ventures, corporate finance and securities offerings, and corporate governance issues. He joins the firm from Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP.

Mr. Kochian received his B.A. from the University of Rochester in 1990 and his J.D. magna cum laude in 1998 from Cornell Law School.
