(London) – Akin Gump is pleased to share that IJGlobal has named Akin Gump as a finalist in the category “Legal Adviser of the Year” as part of the publication’s IJInvestor Awards 2021.

The Legal Adviser of the Year award recognizes “the most outstanding performance by a law firm advising clients involved in the deployment of capital in energy and infrastructure assets, including fundraising activities and M&A advisory. The winner will have demonstrated work with a breath of clients across different geographies.”

Judging is based on a number of factors, including deal volume and mandates, geographic and sector reach, market reputation and track record, challenges overcome in deal-making, and legal and financial innovation.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony to be held on December 8 at Pan Pacific Hotel in London.

In December 2020, Akin Gump was named “Best Legal Adviser – Tax Equity” at the IJInvestor Awards 2020 (learn more here).
