Wolf, who served as Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Export Administration in the Obama administration, spoke on new export control regulations from the US Commerce Department and national security in the context of export controls.
He also addresses how these new rules are, “a transformational and fundamental shift in the definition of national security with respect to the regulation and the purpose of regulating the movement of otherwise commercial commodities software technology and services by US persons.”
